SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Compensation Structure: Base retainer fee plus appointment setting fee

NATURE OF WORK

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in our sales efforts in initiating communication with qualified leads through phone calls and emails. The Sales Development Representative will also assist with the overall coordination, support and facilitation of sales support activities.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Perform outbound sales activities such as phone calls, emails and scheduling sales meetings.
  • Document, track and monitor all leads and activities in CRM software.
  • Contact and schedule appointments with Sales in target markets
  • Qualify inbound sales inquiries and appropriately advance them to the next step in the company’s sales cycle.
  • Be a knowledge expert and successfully articulate company’s service offerings.
  • Actively look for opportunities to improve and optimize outbound lead management
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify and source potential leads
  • Nurture longer term prospects
  • Follow up with prospects who responded to marketing programs and campaigns

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal skills via phone and email
  • Self-starter results oriented
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Ability to maintain a high call volume and to assess prospects needs
  • Strong sales acumen
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within an organization
  • PC literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CRM software experience a plus

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • College Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales representative capacity preferably in the Service Industry
  • Familiar with southeast Florida
